DBJ on CBS4: What business needs to know about Denver's camping ban <img src='http://assets.bizjournals.com/denver/news/2010/11/12/CBS4%20Logo*100.jpg?v=1'>Denver's new homeless camping ban has stirred controversy -- and triggered questions among business people about how the ordinance will work.
The new rule, adopted by the Denver City Council May 14, takes effect May 29. It bans homeless people and others from camping overnight on public or private property without permission.
The ordinance comes as the number of unsheltered homeless people has risen sharply, according to a recent point-in-time survey.
