I'm gonna guess you probably won't like it. It's not an upbeat story exactly, it's about the rich "soc's" against the grungy "greasers" and it's not like a love story either. Don't get me wrong, I still think you should read it! Last year, in 7th grade, we had to read The Outsiders for school, though. At first, I didn't really like it, because it's about boys and the narrator is a guy, too. In the end, I ended up liking it a lot. If you want to read it, then you should, regardless if you'll like it or not.
