Kind of, you get a month leave per year, and they will fly you anywhere in the world you want to go..but it also depends on if there is a space in a flight to where you want to go, its called Space A travel google it and you will find a lot of army travel stuff.

@enriqueveras, I would say go with the Marines, they are rifleman first, so more accurate at longer distances, more comradery, and they are tougher then the army too, among other things.Although its your decision

i just turned 18 yesterday ( finally ) and im deciding on wether to go for Marines or Army. i might go with the Army cus their more laidback than the Marines but i still haven’t decided yet. i also took the asvab earlier this year and im pretty sure i failed it does anyone know a good asvab study quide book i can get, if you do hit me up with a message please thanks.

@xDrumxBumx Well bro, im going to basic for an 11X infantryman in the army in five days, i dont know much yet, but I can tell you if you want better pay, and better options..I would go army. From what ive heard about the marines, from the marines, most of the time they just drive around and get blown up by IEDs. But for all I know the army does as well..i just did army because I like having so many different opportunities, I could try to be a sniper, ranger, airborne..etc.

dude straight up haha, Im 17 I was deadset on going Marine till a month ago you know what happens, just for and giggles im like lets go see what the army dudes next door say, so I go in and their like whats up and I say I wanna go airborne, the marines wont guarantee it wil you? the army guy actually women says well yes we can if your not a dumbshit haha so I take my asvab here I am goign airborne 13f or 19d google those two MOS’s and look what they guarantee you haha plus advanced rank.

@xDrumxBumx Marine Corp uniforms is waaaay better looking. But Airborne Infantry is a lot of fun I’ll tell you that. Is like a half Ranger I guess you could say is the next best thing and one step closer. Best of luck though on your option.

well one i first sign up i signed for tanks you know i have alwase wanted to drive the tanks but one i finshed boot they told me i had ben transferrd to infantry and i relly had no say so. so go with the army man whatever you sign for is what you will get
