I need a topic for a reserch paper please!?


My major is human resource management and I need a topic along the lines of, stess managment, conflict resolution, diversity in the workplace, team work etc.. These are already taken, the topic has to do with people in the work place.

How about bosses using technology to keep track of employees in the field.

    I think geographically distributed work groups and/or outsourcing teams would be an area ripe for an interesting paper. Lines of communication, shared vision and goals, time zones and work hours.

    you could write about steps workplaces are taking to facilitate or encourage physical activity for employees. some places are now including gym passes, provide workout areas and resources, benefits for not smoking and healthy practices..it would be interesting to learn what steps are being taken where, who’s made the greatest efforts to encourage healthy behaviors, etc. good luck with your paper! :)

    What, if any, are the emerging clique norms in the various functional units (say, IT, Accounting and HRD) of a typical organization and how these norms (say, changing perspective of an IT employee on the importance of his or her job, loss of the confidentiality of an Accounting employee job (due to IT), need for appropriate HR policies to deal with presenteeism, poaching, fashion in the workplace, etc.) are improving or interfering with the efficiency of business operation.
